Florida’s education department received a $6.6 million federal grant to expand work-based learning and career exploration for students.
The state says the funding will support virtual work experiences, pre-apprenticeships and other career-connected programs, including opportunities for students in rural areas. The initiative builds on Florida’s statewide Xello career-planning platform.
