Russia Hits Ukraine Energy Grid as Winter Approaches

A large Russian aerial attack struck Ukrainian energy infrastructure and forced emergency power cuts in several regions.

Reuters reported that the barrage involved drones and ballistic missiles and caused deaths, injuries and damage around Kyiv. Ukrainian officials say Moscow is again targeting the energy system ahead of winter, while Ukraine continues attacks on Russian infrastructure.
