Florida Launches Statewide Review of K-12 Science Standards

The Florida Department of Education has started a public listening tour as the state undertakes a major rewrite of its K-12 science standards.

The department says parents, teachers, scientists and employers will be invited to comment on content, sequencing and scientific inquiry. A virtual session was scheduled for September 30, followed by additional meetings around the state.
